Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I choose to pay more for a home visit as opposed to visiting a brick-and-mortar establishment?

Great question! There are several answers to this question. First, the convenience factor. You could be adjusted in your PJ's, if needed. No need to find a baby sitter or miss a lunch to get adjusted. We have convenient evening and weekend availability. Second reason; you get individualized attention from Dr. Sophia. You are not passed off to the associate or chiropractic assistant. It is a hands-on, customized, and personal approach. Third reason; for just a little more expense you get an all-inclusive visit. No need to worry about meeting a deductible or whether or not your policy will cover your treatments.

What areas do you service?

We service the Katy, Cinco Ranch, Richmond, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Rosenberg and Fulshear areas. Service outside these areas is possible if enough notice is given. Additional travel fees may apply.

What is a typical visit like?

The beauty of a house call visit is the freedom to customize each visit to your individual needs. For new patients, visits are usually 1 hour long. For existing patients, visits are usually 30 minutes. Within that time span each visit can vary depending on the reason for your house call. Visits can include a manual adjustment, myofascial release work (manual, equipment assisted, cupping, etc) kinesiotape application, exercise tutorial.

Do you accept insurance?

No, we do not accept health insurance.

Can you come to my work?

Yes!!  We are available for appointments at your place of business as long as we receive permission from your employer, your business is within our service area and accessibility is not too difficult. Please contact us for more information.

I'm embarassed about my....house, kids, dog, cat, etc. Will you judge me?!?

Absolutely not! Dr. Sophia's attitude is one of acceptance and understanding. Unless your environment constitutes a safety hazard, all else is perfectly acceptable.

Do you accept workers comp or auto accident cases?

No, these types of cases are better suited in a full-service chiropractic environment.
