Meet Dr. Sophia Bekiaris, DC

Dr. Sophia has lived and practiced in Fort Bend county for 10 years. A native Houstonian, she earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from University of Houston in 2005. During her undergraduate career, she worked as a Chiropractic Assistant at several local practices. Within that time she also went on to become a Licensed Massage Therapist.
After graduating UH in 2005, Summa Cum Laude, she went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Palmer is the first and continues to be the largest chiropractic college in the world. While attending Palmer she worked towards becoming a Chiropractic Neurologist. She graduated Palmer in 2009, Magna Cum Laude, and went on to become board certified by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board in 2011.
From 2009-2011 she worked under the tutelage of Dr. Gail Henry, a leading Chiropractic Neurologist in the field.
From 2011-2017, Dr. Sophia went on to open her own chiropractic clinic in Sugar Land. To further her understanding of Kinesiology and body mechanics, she went on to become Forrest Yoga Foundation Certified in 2014.
Since 2017, Dr. Sophia has traveled and lived in Greece all while practicing and honing her skill set.  She has a true passion for the profession and never stops learning!
